E Ink Pearl display

xBook-60w has a 6” E-ink Pearl display, which can give clear, sharp appearance to text and images. E-ink display is the perfect solution for reading for a long time. E-ink Pearl display can be read well even in direct sunlight, unlike regular LCD displays, and also spares the eyes just like paper books.

Up to 5,000 books

xBook-60w can store up to 5,000 books – which is the amount of a library, so you can carry your book collection always with you, anywhere you go. Storage capacity can be multiplied with MicroSDHC card, up to 32GB.

Energy for weeks

No need to worry about charging. Due to E-ink technology the device uses energy, only when content on the screen changes. Once the battery is fully charged, the device can handle thousands of page turns or content changes on the screen, which means some weeks of usage, if used without Wi-Fi.

Built-in Wi-Fi

You can connect to Wi-Fi points at home, workplace or hotspots. Should it be open or secured network, no problem for xBook-60w to connect.

Easy carrying

The device is ultra slim and has a super light weight. It’s only 8 mm thick and weighs only 214 grams. You can feel as if holding only a thin novel, but you can carry the contents of a library. Carrying is easy with the elegant leather case enclosed, which defends the device from smaller harms as well.

Functions for your convenience

Reading can be more convenient by choosing the proper font size from a 24 grade scale and font style of 5 types. Page turn can be automated, so no need to press any keys while reading. Automated page turn can be especially effective when using together with TTS function, which is available in English and Chinese languages. The orientation of the screen can be changed, so customised for your individual wish.

Gallery and music player

Beyond reading, other functions are also available. Photos and images stored in the inner memory or on a memory card can be viewed and your favourite music can be played, too. Images appear in grayscale because of E-ink technology.
